'k so on the upside,I have been following the kids advice and I am weening myself off the weed. From a 20 a day habit for 30 odd years, I am now down to one ciggie a day. And before any of you get any ideas of cold turkey, unless you know what you are talking about, let's not even go there.

The cravings are a bit tough to deal with at the mo. I am just wondering how I can dispose of all the bodies of the motorists that annoyed me this morning.

That is great to hear! Keep it up!

That does work as a prevention unfortunately my sinus problem was too far gone.

That mixture is the same as Salex nose spray.

What vitamins you looking for ?

Soon I'll be taking some vitamins to loose some fat, since you don't have a fat problem those vitamins are useless to you.

According to some people Spanish steak can help with that.

But I don't have access to Spanish cows and I was also told that you need to ride a Spaz bike for it to work properly.

But then again, you already know all this. ;) ;)

You could have stopped and offered him a lift but I know that you didn't want to interfere with his training.

Dude he had this like 'race face' thing going  - when I looked around the motorists looked quite intimidated by his prowess on the 'velo'

But your big mate AC does! ;)

You should know by now that you need to ride a Specialized for cycling to work at all, it just so happens that it works properly while riding the Specialized.

I was trying to break away from the MTB oke behind me. Was a long chase and I passed him just before Rand Water. Then the traffic light caught me and he was right on my six again. So I just had to make the break stick this time.

Oh and that wasn't the race face. Dude, those are the withdrawals.

But it was a good ride and thanks for not hooting.

Really mean that. I didn't need to go back to change kit, wash bikes and all that rot again.

Well done on the cutting down on the old 'C' sticks dude! proud of you

As a fellow cyclists I am well aware of the effect of the 'odd' hoot even if done affectionately, especially those cyclists wearing 'em pimp white pant

And I will be even more proud the day I can say "I quit!" Until then, cutting down is a step in the right direction but not the ultimate destination.

 Just wanted you to know that it doesn't go unnoticed. Going along bottom end of Mooi street this am and some blonde doris was hooting at me for what I have no idea. I mean I was as far on the LHS as I could be withoug hitting pedestrians, the traffic light I had slipped earlier, she would not have been able to see, so like WTF?? I sure didn't run over her dog, or the cat.

When I threw up my hands in a guesture of "like WHAT?" her passenger opened the window and said junk I couldn't hear at all. So I chased after her so I could get her phone number and invite her to chat over this with a quiet gallon of wine. Like really get to grips with who owns how much of the road, and find out if she might make as interesting an IDT as she looked like she might.

For a ride like that I don't get to drink much it's a glycogen run but yip 32Gi in the bottle :-). It was hard and that wind can drive anyone insane.

Don't worry I'll pick you brain when you get back.

We (Trubie & I) were also out this morning and the wind made things a little tougher.

You excited / nervous / confident ?
