Glad you okes are only somewhat / mildly crazy. 'k so the sun is up by 06h10, but like it's not up for long enough to take the edge off. Then again, it's almost a 4 hour ride so only about 5 % will be cold. I'm not scared of the cold. Terrified is a more fitting description. When you have ears the size of mine, they tend to be "cold magnets". So you going to wear all that polar gear again? Look like you going scuba diving off Blouberg in the freezing Altantic?

Dude, the early bird .... Precisely my point, The early worm gets caught by the bird dude. smiley36.gif

Thanks Kid for pointing that post count out. So this be my 1000th post. Big post count = big hub addiction. I need help.smiley5.gif

Spaso, you got a cure for this?

I'd like to be back by 11am, wanna watch the F1.

It will be nippy for the 1st hour after that it's ok and after 9am it's HOT!!

Slave, wear a beannie to keep your ears warm.

Slavey, Holy hit 20 000 posts today, now he's very quiet. Maybe that's the cure, after 20 000 posts you'll have nothing else to say.

Holy talks so much cr@p he'll never run out of stuff to say.smiley36.gif

I'm all tapped out at 1001. Ah so F1 is more important than riding. (I agree. Watched the delayed broadcast yesterday. Pity about The penatly that Jarno got, promoting Hamilton the hooglian to third.)

Go Massa, get your red rocket together and go for it.

That new Braun team look like they might have it together.

Nancy, you want even break a sweat.

Put it this way, if GreyOwl had to do it alone it would probably take him

1hr 45min, the last time I done this route with Slavey it took us 4hrs and we piggy backed on the R4S groups.

So it will probably take us 4hrs but Nuwbie is fast and Oxman has also been doing 'top secret training' so he's just as fast or even faster.

Hey Nance.smiley4.gif

If you gonna join in, I'll make sure it's slow enough for you. I'm into the ride for distance but not wanting to race it. My body is betraying me and crying for rest so, I'm def. into LSD.

If you don't come along for the ride, I'm gonna be the back marker. I could use someone who can ride at my pace to keep me company.

Hey Slave smiley2.gifsmiley4.gif

Kid... dunno about not breaking a sweat, haven't been riding much.<?: prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" />

I went out 3 times last week and managed to do 4kms per ride at 8km/h all that training is because I promised my boys that I'd spend more time riding with them after Sani2C was out of the way....

Well, Sani2C is out of the way and now they're REALLY holding me to it!smiley36.gif

Slave, I wouldn't want to deprive you of company at the back of the group so now I kinda feel obliged to join...

Now let's see if I can use my feminine wiles to convince the wise bird to swap his SO time around and join us on Sunday too smiley2.gif

maybe Dash can be convinced as well... then there'll be three backmarkers smiley1.gif

Nancy, I don't think you'll have a problem.

GOv2 has a new toy and I'm sure he's keen to ride it and this weekend he was on his track bike.

Just remembered that he can ride during the week, eish it just got harder Nancy.

Now there is an idea Kid.

We haven't seen this new GOv2.0 mean machine so he has to join us to show it off.

The man has a mean track machine. Carbon everything that weighs nothing. Really nice bike. Now we have to apply our Souff Stamp of Approval on the new road bike.

C'mon owl man, this is your boarding call.

The Ox is joining us as well.

Hey guys...keen to join a ride this weekend...and get the stamp of approval on the new wheels.

Thanks so much for the support and company on saturday...was great having you guys there.

Kewl GOv2.

You realise that this ride is on Sunday for a change. You can just swap out your "SO time".

I also got her permission for you to ride with us on Sunday dude. (And you thought we were there to support you? HA!.)

Seriously, good race man. Kudos. Still waiting to hear of your eploits yesterday.

Slave

My dress code will depend on the weather. I like dressing warm, I'd rather be warm , than look nice. If that can make sense.

I try dress in layers, so as the temp goes up, so the kit comes off.

As for the pace Nance - that'll be determined by the slowest rider. The idea is to get the distance in the bank. LSD style. I'm sure if someone rides away, they will stop and wait for the rest- on top of the climb!

If we can ave anywing between 26-28 , I'll be more than satisfied with a good ride.

Nuwbie, Nance is not as slow as she let's on. Not quite in your league speedwise but not as slow as she thinks.

We did a 75 k loop around Boscos a few weeks ago and she was the slowest, but not all that bad. We did that in about 28.2 average speed.

Not too sure why she's having an anxiety dis-ting. smiley36.gif If her speed was such a problem, we may not have extended the invite. Nance will be OK and between GO and I, we'll make sure she is always in the company of someone.

If we drop her on a hill or something, we can do like you say and regroup at the top. Easy as that.

Lucky for you, there won't be any fashion police on the route come Sunday dude. smiley2.gif BTW, you didn't look bad on the last ride. I just wondered if your bike was the right piece of equipment to have with the dress. I expected a deep see fishing boat.smiley36.gif

For both mine and Nace's sake, please keep at least one layer on at all times. smiley36.gifsmiley36.gif
