Sorry HR and TNT1 but this one is not for youWink

I have finally got my wife into cycling and she has joined my CC and now I want to buy her a club kit.

Seeing as women are a bit more endowed upstairs I was wondering if she should order the bib shorts or normal shorts?

Don't know if the straps on the bibshorts will cause unnecessary shaffing on her boobiesConfused...not that I would mind, cause then it would give me reason to give them some much needed TLCWinkLOL

Much of a muchness really, bib shorts don't rub boobies anymore than wearing a T-shirt would. Wink

I personally prefer normal shorts just because I don't have to get completely undressed to go to the loo... whereas with bib shorts it becomes quite a mission.

Aaaah yes...Forgot about that problem you ladies haveWink

That's the advantage of having a shpongle, we men just lift the shorts and hang everything out

I'm told that bibs aren't as important for women as they are for men. This is because the females have hips to prevent the shorts sliding down. I think most men will agree that once we've gone bibs we don't go back, which might lead us to believe that the same applies for women...

Nevertheless, the quality womens' shorts seem to be mostly bib anyway?

bibs or shorts, don't have a problem either way. thinks it differ from woman to woman - just like getting the most suitable saddle.

but: just getting started - i would suggest  : shorts.

I've only ever worn shorts. Just make sure they have a soft chamois insert and no artificial material (cheap and nasty).

speaking of shpongle advantage....if anyone has ever tried this 'device', I'd love to hear comments. I was sent a link a few months back. It's a pretty wild idea Tongue

FemmePlus is a disposable urine funnel that allows ladies to urinate whilst standing. It is made from waterproof board and is shaped to fit the female body perfectly, allowing women of all ages to urinate in a standing position.

FemmePlus is discreet and easy to use when traveling, at campsites, at festivals or wherever public toilets may either be unhygienic or unavailable. FemmePlus is particularly useful when your doctor asks for a urine sample.

Women who try FemmePlus consider it not to be an occasional-use product but an essential addition to their handbags
