Eden Stellenbosch: Who's building

Does anybody know who's doing the trail building in Eden? After last week's storms a couple of trees fell over the single track in three places and I thought it would be ideal to build some bridges/jumps/something over them with some alternative single track around it.

 

When I got there on Thu for a night ride all the trees were cut-up and moved out of the way. I don't think what I had in mind would've been overly-technical or even CLOSE to impossible for MOST riders. Another op lost to do some great trail-building.

haha... 2 of my friends complained to me that they had to pick their bikes up over all the trees that fell over

Yeah, there were some guys carrying their bikes all over the show. It was quite bad, but I cleared most of the branches and logs and crap that came down with it.

Was definitely disruping the flow, but with some minor building it would be nice and flowing again with a dash of adrenaline thrown in for good measure.

I know Craig and he's been building some of the bigger jumps and drop-offs, but he's not building single track.

Rode there yesterday, looks like most of it's been cleared except right at the top where a BIG tree fell right across the trail... We looked at it and thought it would make a mean launch, and I don't think it'll move all that quickly. Whoever it is that's building, they've been busy!
