why is it that i can't find this bike on the gt website? it definitely exists as i rode one on saturday holy roller2008-12-08 00:34:02

nope, zaskar-style frame. xt equipped. we got it from omnico as a test bike for a coupla weeks. comes in a shade under R26000. all i kind find on the site are the peaces.

mixed feeling about it. maybe it was a little big for me (a medium - like yours?).

i'll see if i can get a pic of it this arfie. quick question, thug: can you wheelie a 9er? do you find it hard to yank the front wheel up. 

 

at first i thought the shock had been pumped up too much, but even when put a couple more psi in, i found it quite an effort to raise it from the ground. couldn't find the bike's balance point.

I got this pic a while ago, and ive also been very curious to find out more about the bike. And like you say, i heard there were already a few in SA, but there is no info on the net.

 Did'nt you get a letter the other day ?    Or are you organizing this as part of the settlement deal ?

zaskar, that's the very onesame colour scheme. i rode it quite a bit on saturday, in between dealing with custmers and only in the vicinity of the bike shop.

I battle to try & lift the front wheel but then again after my off at the bike park, I'm not too sure I want to try too hard and end up on my ass again.

hmmmmmm?i'm thinking i should take the tester to the bike park next week?i popped a wheelie on yours when everyone was coming across that river on the dump ride. maybe it was because of the rigid fork, but i managed to "pump" the front end up easier.
