Wanted 2.3 for the rear and 0.7 for the front.

 

Looking at CRC,  the price is comparable to the DT Swiss 240's, but the biggest question is..... how do they compare from a longevity and quality point of view?

Why don't you just get these. I'm sure they come from the same factory.

Now please somebody correct me if I'm wrong, but from what I've heard, DT went through a bad phase with freewheels once.

Never heard anything but the highest praise for Hope.

 

Their attention to detail and overall finish is impeccable. If you're considering it, I'm gonna do the usual and tell you to have a look at the reviews on mtbr.

 

Don't think you can go wrong though.

ja those are quite nce...u seen them in local shops ?

 

also lie these ones, kinda look like the Tune ones and thses you can trim to make sorter and lighter...

Why would you wan to go lighter then 86g? Remove the end caps, replace the bolts with Ti ones and maybe sand them off to the bare alu. You'll spend another R300 worth of time and money to save 3g.

Scott RC sticks, R200, 57grams off the shelf. Had these on my previous bike but donated to my boet when i switched to riser bars...

ja I like those, only thing that puts me off is the not-so knee-friendly pinch bolt........

btw I have titchey WCS and I did cut them down.........saved 8g.....Big%20smile

 

they're looking a little tired now.

 

so anyone seen the BB ones around ??

Private stash! Go find your own supplier, do you know how long it took me to find them! And mine have been upgraded with Gold Ti Pro-bolts, has nothing to do with weight, they just look cool!
