A company that sells electronics at Value centre, Goodwood       (Hi FI Corp.)

I just want to explain how great the client service is at The company in  Value centre.

I had a problem with a laptop I bought from them and took it in to them for repairs because it was still under garuantee In FEB 2008.

3 WEEKS LATER......

I called to hear if they know what the problem is and when it will

be back, only to discover they forgot about it and have not yet send it

to acer. When they finally did get to acer they came back with a quote

with something totaly different.

7 MONTHS LATER.....

I finally got back my laptop from them and guess what they lost my bag and my charger.

7 MONTHS AND 1 DAY LATER....

I had to take the laptop back Because it had a memory dump.

FROM THEN ONWARDS.....

Since then They have once told me my laptop will be back in 3 day I

can then come pic it up. 5 Days past I went to go pic it up and their

was no laptop. Then a week later I got a Call from them saying my laptop

is available for pic up on the monday ONCE AGAIN no laptop So finally

my mother took it further and got on the phone to the big guys.

2 DAYS LATER .....

I finally have a working laptop on the 10 DECEMBER  2008  remember this al started  FEB 2008

?....

So why cant they just be fast from the beginning why do I have to go to the top get people in trouble to get something done.

Does anyone else have this problem with them

Angry

They suck and the one at Somerset Mall smelt of serious BO on Monday after work...nice. I'd rather go elsewhere and spend more than walk out of there feeling like I just flushed my bucks down the toilet.

Hi fi corruption = VOETSTOOTS

Once they have their money, that's it. Being a parallel importer, they warranty the stuff themselves, and fix it themselves. But their repairs department is useless. Rather take it to a computer shop / TV repair guy / LBS (yes, your local bike wrench probably does know better)

The silly thing is, they're often not that much cheaper (if at all) than anywhere else. Rather shop around, you may pay 5% extra on purchase but you'll save in the long run.
