Has anyone got a bright idea for charging a Garmin Edge 305 at the overnight stop at the Sani? Didn't have a Garmin last year, so didn't have the problem. I presume it will need charging?

It entirely depends who is charging your batteries!!!!!!!!

put your contrast lower on the screen and minimize your screens that are open for example only have map and heart rate or speed visible or map and nothing else also disable all tones and lights unless you really need to worry about seeing how far still to go it will save battery life and you wont need to charge it half way

Nope, drains the batteryEmbarrassed

Seriously though, that little Zartek thingy looks brilliant. Much more reliable than a solar charger.

A few car chargers for cellphones come with a USB plug in the rear (like my iphone) which comes in handy when having to use USB adaptable leads for charging my 305/camera etc

That's all very well if you have your car at the Sani overnight stops!Wink
