Looks like having friends pays off.

Mr PV, a part time hubber, has organised me a loan bike and Alexander Lamberts from Bester Cycles has managed to get me a Cannondale Six 13 at a give away price, cannot wait to get back from holiday.Big%20smile

I'm glad you got sorted WolfieClap

Welldone to everyone that is helping to get you back on the road.

How will the 'dale compare to your previous bike...spec/weight looks wise. That Orbea of your was a really nice looking bike.

Your Orca been stolen! ShockedDead

There is not a lot of guys that will fit on it and it isn't such a commen frame.  Pos a pic so that if it surface someone may be able to ID it.

The 'dale is a copper colour, dura ace specced with American Classic 420 wheelset, looks-wise it will probably grow on me, weight wise should be pretty close.

All in all I cannot complain, also got a very reasonable repayment arrangement with the owner.

Will build a new record groupset over the course of the year, but will endure the shimano in the meantime

always best to get you own back.

I know what you mean HR. I have been there before myself.

When you sell a bike, it's a decision that you make and you move on, but when your bike is stolen you never really get over it. It's like catching your GF/wife sleeping with someone elseWink

LOL I know what you meen.

The AM 420 may be a bit flexy for you.  They have a weight limit of around 120kg if I remember correctly but the spoke count is a bit low.  I must add I am extremely impressed with my AM?s. <?: prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" />

I hope you enjoy your new bike.
