Johan Bornman Posted January 8, 2009 Share The word "camp" lost its homosexual connotations in the 1970s and since then it has taken on a meaning of ultra-aspirational middle class or over-the-top ostentation that's so over the top that it is actually cool. A good example of something camp would be an Open Corsa with 19 inch mags or, a Hummer that's so blinged up that it is actually cool. Thus, in the case of bicycles it is easy. Any bike with n"upgrade" wheels, any bike with poofter wheels, any bike with those funny aluminium beaded cable outers or any bike with KNC brakes.
