You can't judge a bike by small' date=' medium, large etc. I'm 1cm taller than Helloise.  My road bike is an XS and my mtb is a medium.

Each manufacturer has different sizing. Go for a proper bike setup and they will be able to tell you whether it is the correct size or not.

100% true Mandibles but to be a ruler length shorter then me and ride the same size bike, even if the manufacturers are different, does not sound right.

Helloise it isn't too late. Go get a bike setup done. They will be able to see whether the frame is too big or not and perhaps all you need is a shorter stem or narrower handle bars or something along those lines to make it more comfortable. Go to your LBS and ask them to help you. They don't usually charge for it unless it is a fancy computerised setup.

Helloise, it does sound like your frame is too big. what you can try to minimise the discomfort until you buy the right size frame go for a proper set-up and look into getting a shorter stem. also, check the width of your bars as well - if they are too wide they will aggravate the discomfort.

ps i am 1.52cm short and i ride an XS road frame and an S mtb.
