OK, quick recap

The route from Andrag is about 160-170km long, i tried to upload pic, but no luck.

The route starting and finishing in SW is about 125km, also cant upload pic.

PM me your email addy and ill forward jpeg.

Kent, SlOW, KevinV will join the fast group!

Rookie, Onetime and Skye will join the slower group.

Rookie - the Andrag group will past your place (i think), you are more than welcome to cycle with us from there too the start in SW if you like.

Racman - will add your name closer to the time if can confirm if you'll be here or not

Thanks for the bit of advice Dick!! It make sense. PLEASE ALL HAVE A LOOK AT HIS REPLY.

I'm quite happy with a pace of 26-28 for teh faster group and 24-26 the slower group

ANY INPUT GUYS - and we should probably set a start time. Guess the Andrag group needs to start about an hour earlier. How about a 5:30 andrag start and 6:30 SW start or is that too late or too early?

UPDATE - Please see below

Input welcome!!!!!

21/03/2009

4 Passes - SW start (125km)

From Helderberg Cycles/McDonald we will go out over SIR LOWRY'S PASS' date=' turn left towards grabouw, go over VILJOENS PASS, just over theewaterskloof bridge we will turn left up and over FRANSCHOEK PASS and then outside Franschoek, we will turn left towards Pniel, past boschendal over HELSHOOGTE PASS and through stellenbosch back to SW on the R44.

4 Passes - Andrag Start (160-170km)

Will go through Kuilsrivier and meet the rest at Helderberg Cycle/Mcdonalds and continue as above up to stellenbosch, were we will be  going back on the Klipheuwel and Bottelary Road.

Please advice were you will be riding and starting, so that we can make the neccesary arrangements.

thinking about setting up some ground rules - any suggestions?

At the moment there will be two groups(Medium/Slower Pace), i will speak to Slowbee, but i want to nominate him as the second groups leader.

Medium 2 Fast - ave of about 26-28km/h

Medium 2 Slower - ave of about 23-25km/h with lots of stops

the idea is that if there are slower guys starting at Andrag to stick together up to SW.
