grip shifts

hi guys,

i realise that this is probably a silly question, but please humour me....

Can i put a sram grip shift on my mtb using my existing xt  derailers ?

 

Any assistance would be appreciatedConfused

Not the normal ones but they do have a set that is compatible with Shimano.

 

BUT, Kiwi sells ones that are compatible with Shimano and they are really cheap.

I would assume that not just any SRAM gripshift will work. There is a specific line of shifters (Attack if I'm correct?) that do work with SHimano rear derailleurs (Fronts are always OK!).

Yes, he is also a hubber. His website is http://www.planet-x-bikes.co.za/ but it's not on there but his contact details are. I think it's less then R300 for a set of shigters.
