This afternoon (3 March 2009) we're going to play unicycle hockey @ Thrashers (Now New Life) skatepark (Near Menlyn in Pretoria) from 17:00-20:00 if you interested give me a sms or ring at 084 392 8467 we have spare sticks and uni's you don't even have to able to ride we'll give some tips, a great place to start unicycling.... Or if you just wana come check it out or have a good laugh at some people (&*%%$ their asses of when somebody places a stick in front of your wheel It's great fun, BELIEVE ME!!!!!!!!!!! [/quote'] I'm not sure if I have the story 100% correct, but how I got it is that they (him and 2 girls) been touring South Africa for the last 3 months by bicycle. They put the unicycle front wheel in the bike, then carry the rest of the uni in their backpacks. When they see something they want to ride, they just assemble the uni and have some fun. So yes, they must be pretty tired by now!

So yes, they must be pretty tired by now! The dude's name is Arne Tilgen. He and a friend Linda rode from Cape Town to Durban on bicycles. Their front forks were modified to take their Unicycle wheels so they could remove the front wheel and assemble their unicycles to ride around on. Arne has a blog up, translated version here.
