am gonna be staying at the misty hills country hotel in two weeks' time for a management planning thing.anyone know if any accessible trails in the vicinity?

forgot about teak. got a link? is phambili open during the weekend to the public? i thought it was just a race-specific venue.

If you going to teak, take some cash with. I believe they are now charging to access the MTB route. However that said, they have done a lot of work on their "blue" route and it is a tough, but fairly entertaining ride. I also noticed some "black" route boards going up. However rain chased me away before I could go play on those trails.

Mark, those black board trails are 'interesting' to say the least.. I battled big time with some of the hills. But then I am fat and unfit..Big%20smile

I seem to remember that there are contact details for Phambili on the Rock Hoppers website. www.rmbc.co.za (I think). 

 

any idea who far these places are from where i'm staying?

Phambili is on the Avianto road close to the hot air balloon place. Glenburn is just a bit further on the same road and turning right at the t-junction. Teak place is also out the same way but you turn left at the t-junction and then right and the circle past the lion park.
