Lefty is only the way it attaches to the fork, got nothing to do with the spokes or rims.

The fact that that wheel is buckled has nothing to do with how the axle is supported - from one side or both. The wheel suffered some trauma that would have buckled a wheel in a standard fork just as badly as this.

roda a lefty for years, and never had "more" buckling on the front wheel.

Did the wheel buckle, or has it just flexing under an impact and will spring back to shape?

That's a buckle. Wheels don't flex that much, as people who use rim brakes will tell you.
