Why not get the the RS800CX from Chain Reaction Cycles.  ZAR cost is R3900 so shipping will be free and then you will probably have to pay VAT on landing.

Love my CS600.

The power meeter is a BITCH to setup.  Otherwise I had two years of riding with it now.

The only flaw that it does have is the damn bracket the breaks every 6 months.!!!!!!!!  I am starting to look at the Garmin 705 which do not need a speed sensor on the frame.....and it can display a hell of a lot functions on the dial.....downside is the battery lasts a week and if you forget to recharge..........eish.

My polar's battery lasts about a year.

Hope that helps.

I disagree. I have a CS600 with Power and everything works like a charm. Sure, it's not a SRM or Powertapp, but it works.

The setup is easy if done correctly, sure it takes some time, but you only need to do it once.

I would not say it's a bitch

I agree with you, it was not difficult to setup the power meter it works just fine.

The Speed sensor also works perfectly from my fork.

I have had no issues with the bracket at all.

You don't need a Powertap, at that price it is  not for us amateurs. The Polar power meter is perfect for power training, all you need is a measure of power, even if it is not accurate just as long as it is consistant, which the Polar is.
