Is suppose this is what normally happens when a roadie with lacking MTB technical skills becomes to ?windgat?

He FALLS!

Had a nasty one over the weekend ? knee badly cut & scratched.

What treatment can I use to heal the wounds as QUICK as possible and with the least amount of scarring?  There is no question that it is all about ego & vanity.

Please don?t comment on roadie vs. hardcore MTBers issues.

I need your help to get back on the road / dirt - not looking like a 3 year old learning to ride a two wheel bike.

Keep the wound clean and change the dressing regularly. then once the scab is gone put a product called Dermastine on it, it is a great way to prevent excessive scarring.

Pepper Spray,

I did the same thing. Landed up smashing my collar bone. I now have a lot of metal in my shoulder and a virtually unused mountain bike. The worst thing is that the mountain bike hardly scratched (not sure about yours?) If that was my roadbike it would have been trashed.

Use tissue oil if you don't want bad scars, but that's only if you don't want to show battle scars. I have a beaut scar on my knee from that fall.

My doc even told me if I fall off my MTB again I shouldn't bother trying to fix my collar bone againClap

as a roadie you should know this,

Scrub out all the dirt, faint from the pain

give your girlfriend the Merthiolate, see how much pleasure she gets form spraying it on your wound, faint from the pain again. (dont tell any of your mtb buddies you cried like a baby)
