You can say that again, wow what a day!!! Especially the unfortunate crash and then "punch-up"...  at the U16 points race, and the people's (parents) reaction after that...ShockedShockedShocked

 

But as you said, it was in the heat of the moment.... and the boys involved overreacted...Ouch

 

Anyway, the racing in general was very good!!!!

Ladies - Fire have us all a terrible fright - had an asthma attack, and literally passed out on the bike, shortly after this pic. She received some oxygen and nebulising - was fragile, but ok ...

And as Fire was still semi unconcious, we had a fire of a different sort, coals falling from the burning roof! Racing stopped till after a visit from the fire department!

which included a tumble & other drama

Some rejoined the race, one left on a stretcher, and the racing resumed charged and furious till the end

Girl in the first photo is a 1 year U/16.  Claudia Bold.   GN.

 

Had a nice tumble on Thursday  was rushed to hospital with some concussion, was back in the afternoon to finish 3 in the next race.

Sorry I gave you all a fright.  After getting the points on first sprint, all went downhill.... I started seeing stars but pushed on to the 2nd sprint. Well, after that....Ouch I basically blacked out. Did not get enough oxygen.

 

Still alive and kicking!!!!Wink

Will kick some more tush next year!!! Got a full 18months to get this asthma thing under control! Big%20smile
