'Model' needed at Groenkloof this weekend

I am looking to try a new shooting technique this weekend and am looking for a male or female 'model' to ride up and down a few sections at Groenkloof. An hour of your time appreciated. Will provide copies of the pics on CD.

As you may have deducted I have a SAS condition (shutter addiction syndrome) so whenever you're riding in a cool place where we can make magic pics let me know, one of these days I'm going to get a photo that's in focus ;-)

if im not going to The Dumbe race over the weekend, Im sur we can help you out.... we are helping a couple of ladies to learn how to ride the technical parts and is sure that they would not mind doing some sections over and over..... and you have the added bonus of getting action fall photos if it happens........

We have a ride at Groenkloof on sunday. Should be quite a big group. Maybe one of us wants to be a "model". Ride is at 7h30 - 7h45.

lol. For cash you'll need to do more than ride up and down, big air, back flips, endo's, freehand wheelies come to mind  . See you there P.

The bikeshop once Phoned me with a similar story..

Ended up the actual "models"couldnt ride for sh*t and they drove all the way up th the cerdeburg to find that out..

 

So they needed to get some replacements..I went for it and we ended up doing the shoot on top of tablemountain...not a lot of people can say they have ridden up there..  and I got R1500 for a friday afternoon out cycling with the European okes..

 

A few monthe later a mate of mine emailed me this photo that he took of a lifesize banner in a bikeshop in Londen.I was verry chuffed.

I believe we are "not allowed" to ride up table mountain.

 

But if anyone has or does, I wouldnt mind finding out more info about it

I checked it out but it was a bit advanced for me, still on pavement hopping (not the high ones though) ........

Jeeslike there were so many rules we had to keep...and that was after the "tourguide dude" made a million calls to some authority just below Heaven... We had to put normal clothes on over cycle kit so we wouldnt Promote it..

 

Then a Nature conevation fairy had to watch the bikes at all times.. He wal like a pitbull on a leash..there would be moss growing on the path and it we rode over it, like anyone would walk over it, he would catch a fit..

 

Those bikes were AK 47 rifles in his eyes.

 

I dont think its going to happen again in a hurry..

 

As for riding up the back way through celia forrest, Ive done it.. Awsome ride, steep as all hell... I meen I didnt do it..

i heard your pavement hopping is closer to kerb crawling, cos you end up looking like a

'normal' people are fine, its a test shoot to refine techniques for shooting mountain bikers in action. I've had quite a lot of responses so a big up to everyone, keep contacting me, I'm always looking for fellow mountain bikers to help refine shots & angles. I'll do this every weekend.
