She has been dealt some tough conditions and just keeps going with out a hassle, downhill and cross country. I have also noticed that the new Cubes have some nice components too and are good value for money. Google them and you will not find not a bad word on Cube. Sorry to the Merida supporters. If you thinking of buying locally then rather wait untill the 2011 models are available, they are sooo hot! the 100 now a 110 with ietsie little bit 10mm travel extra (: and improved frame and paint job! :clap: I see there are still 2010 models available on CRC for seriously crazy low prices!! I bought my cube locally 2000km ago and had no reason for taking it back except for busting the rear hub, but that was my wrong :blush: going down breedts too fast without tightening the rear QR properly , anyway, LBS replaced the hub for free! R10k plus R1.5k transport + 15% import duty + 14% VAT Then remember if you take it to bike shop to get it assembled properly - R300Then if baught locally you usually get a free bike setup - R500.Then throw in 1 or 2 free services - R800 Also your warrenty from CRC will be in the UK and not SA for the frame and all components. Example : XMS 2011 CRC = R 11450 therefore your landed cost will be R 16 300.That excludeds all the extras above. Locally the bike is selling for R15 999.Take all the extras into account and you will see bying an XMS locally will save youat least R1k and still have peace of mind and you will have supported the local industry.
