Icycling Posted May 4, 2009 Posted May 4, 2009 Ryan and Olie, come on guys I know you were sprinting for the lower placing, but if not on your drops you are not getting max power in a sprint. So either you were putting on a show or you need to learn to sprint properly!

Marius Posted May 4, 2009 Posted May 4, 2009 I'm going to try the sprinting in my drops and if my Powermeter shows no increase in Power Output I'm going to put this "myth" to rest.
vulgar Posted May 5, 2009 Posted May 5, 2009 sprinting out off the drops r more effective as you can throw your bike over your legs better,easier...but only if you got the legs at the end, not like me at w.p champs, was f..ed,was gearing up instead off going down as i had nothing left..spent!!!

Just staying with the guys is hard enough, then you still need extra energy to sprint. My little engine not big enough yet, glad to see it happens to the "master sprinters" also:-P

Dit sal hopenlik help sodat jy geleenthede het om die mense wat net in die bunch te sit te drop. Ek glo altyd dat van die sterkste ouens moet 'n provinisale of nasionale titel wen.
