Matchstix Posted May 6, 2009 Share The most interesting thing for me on the bike is that it has a Rockshox mag 21(modified) If I remember correctly the fork dates back from '94/
Racer X Posted May 6, 2009 Share To be honest you could knock a fair bit more weight off. That said it looks fugly and that saddle is guaranteed to castrate the owner on the first big drop.
wesf Posted May 6, 2009 Share Was looking @ that, wonder how he modified it?? sure he could get lighter pedals.

Racer X Posted May 6, 2009 Share Was looking @ that' date=' wonder how he modified it?? sure he could get lighter pedals. [/quote'] Its not modified. Becker make about the lightest saddles available. Pure carbon, no padding.
Bos Posted May 6, 2009 Share To be honnest, If I was a old lady I would dig one of these, theres no way that will last in even a proper XC race if I ride it, unless you go very easy on downhills. But like you said, she sure is light.

Racer X Posted May 6, 2009 Share Ah okay my bad. No clue how he did it, how ever it does prove that he values the weight of his bike more than his family jewels.

Weight Weenie Posted May 6, 2009 Share Hehe sweet, but makes me wonder whats the lightest hardtail one can build with actual mtb parts( NO DURA ACE !!!) and thats rideable for normal people, like a saddle with padding and tripple chainrings and diskbrakes, decent tyres etc. And the parts musn't be tuned in any way, they must be stock. Any guesses?
