I have a 9 speed ultegra with flight deck and I'm running my polar of the same wheel. How do I get them to stop interfeering with each other?

Some of the reedings are doubled.

Try adjusting the Polar sensor so that there's a slightly bigger gap to the magnet. I had a similar problem once (on a coded Polar sensor), which I solved in this manner. Good luck!

The Polar is very sensitive to the placing of the pickup on the frame. Play around with the position. I even found once that the position of the fastening bit on the cable ties were influencing the signal. Move them away from the body of the sensor.

Why are you running both?

On the Tandem the "bubbles" showing which gear you are in helps a lot. One cannot just glance down like on a half bike to see this.

sure, but on a single bike? What's the point? If you need the polar for heart rate and stuff, then take it off the bike, and wear it on your arm, let the flight deck take care of the speed and such. Problem solved. Oh, wait, cyclists love to spend money on gimmicks. Nevermind then. OP, what you should do, is keep the flightdeck and polar, and add a wireless powertap, and a garmin. What the hell, get an additional delphi, so you have a backup of your spedd, hr and altitude.

When I got the bike it had the flightdeck on' date=' but when I ride I use my 725x.

So take the flightdeck off.... Do you really use it to check your gear ratios?

I have no need for it, But that meanstaking of the bartape and alot of work I don't feel like doing on a roadbike.

Do you get a double sided magnet?

So bring your bike over to my house, I'll do it for you. This is silly looking for a solution to a problem that doesn't even have to exist.

Don't worry oom H, the rest of the interwebs has not suffered from the sense of humour failure that you have. Get over yourself already.

I have seen guy's use the combo before, I just want to know how?

Not get into a tiff with the nutswingers around this place.

So, do you know? If you don't, don't you have a bike to go and ride?

Already back from training this morning. Thanks for the offer. Oh, and the problem is not with the flightdeck. It's an issue with the polar. You need to play around with magnet/sensor spacing and distance to the reciever.
