what wheelset is better.

hi..I have a shmano hubbed m475 hubbed  mavic 317 wheelset and a DT swiss X1900 wheelset. The DT swiss is lighter and probably not as strong.

 

The question is:  my grilfirend rides a dual suspension bike, and does technical stuff in tokai but very slowly and generally likes XC races..., so which wheelset would suit her better.

I'm worried that if she gets the DT swiss  X1900 wheelset it will buckle within a couple of weeks, months?

 

any suggestions or imput would be great

I'd let her ride the DT Swiss wheelset, it's a lot cooler then anything Shimano can come up with, except maybe the XTR wheelset, that's sweet!

Why would you think DT Swiss is weaker? Better hubs and definitely better rims than MAVIC

Im sinking the least you should have to worry about is "buckling" the rims. How heavy is your GF? most girls (lilo is a exception Marius) doesnt go to fast on technical stuf and dont do drops and stupid things like us boys. so you shouldnt have to worry about strength.
