Bruce.... do not worry. When you upgrade to Shimano again one day you will learn very quickly. Shimano has such a natural movement. No double taps like SRam or ugly buttons on the hood like you know who!!!!!!!

So...TitusT, if jou have wheels with different dishes, what would you have to reset all the time....the gears or the break calipers?Wink Cherry2007-03-16 10:34:31

Nee Cherry. Die afstand van die freehub na die dropout toe bly dieselfde. Die dish maak die wile nie offcentre nie dit plaas hom juis reg in die middel tussen die linker en regte dropouts. Enige verstelling behoort baie klein te wees vir enige casette van dieslfde aantal rate nl. 10 spoed, 9 en 8. Jy sal alles moet oorstel as jy van 10 na 9 toe gaan.

Brilliant stuff.After a 70km/h crash this year that left me with a snapped frame.bar,saddle ,wheels,helmet,the only thing that survived was the sram groupset.Looks like sh*t but shifts perfect.The road groupset is as strong and durable as the mtb sram and the road one is compatible with shimano chains and clusters.I run dura ace chain and ultegra clusters with mine and works like a dream.Wink
