Any crosstraining peoples out there that use one polar transmitter / strap with the CS400 and RC800?

For some reason the transmitters that i got with the watch and cycling computer are not compatible with each other i.e. the RS800 transmitter does not work with the CS400 and vice versa.

I'm planning on doing a tri or 2 this summer and would like to keep the transitions as simple as possible while still being able to record HR for both the cycle and run, without having to change straps.

Is there a trick to getting both to work with one strap?

Both transmitters look the same, except the watch transmitter has "WearLink Wind" written on it and the cycling one has "WearLink Coded" on it.

Quite honestly, I've been struggling to get my CS400 strap to pick up my CS400 (or other way round? Confused) Polar can't seem to find anything wrong with it, so good luck in finding a solution

Oh, I realise this isn't very helpful so consider it a bump Wink

The 2 are not cross compatible as they work on different frequencies.

The best option for triathlons etc is the Garmin Forerunner 305

LOL LOL Thanks, but I have already spent enough on and had enough of gadgets, no bladdy way in hell I'm buying another one.

If this is true then Polar need to catch a wake up FASTAngry
