Mail account been hacked!!!

if you have previously done dealings with me via e-mail please ignore any mails that you might get in the near future from timmmyturtle@hotmail.com

 

 

 

my account has been hacked and the people are saying that i am in northern africa and in need of financial help

 

 

 

the first mail asks for R2500 ad the second and third ones ask for more DO NOT REPLY TO THE MAILS!!!!

non-obvious passwords consisting of letters, numbers and other characters. Letters should preferably not spell a word, and the numbers should not be meaningful to you or anybody close to you...

 

We are all guilty of not doing it 100% correctly... Hope you got your account back in your name, and changed the passwords?

 

Also remember that it is easy to spoof an email address and create a mail which appears to look like it comes from another person....

the thing that confuses me is that my password is pretty bomb proof or so i thought but also i tried to log into my account and they have changed my passwords and all the other safety measures that i put in place

Don't help him! He's probably ripped you off already! I can't help get your money back, all I need is your:

Credit card number

Name as it appears on the card

CVC number

Funny thing just happened...... I saw an email being downloaded and just before finishing it just disappeared. i went to the ISP on the Internet and it is not there. What could have happened???????

Its probably just spoofed.

Its not hard to send mails that look like they come from you.

Otherwise change your pass and scan your pc for trojans/viruses.

 

Oh and stop buying drugs online from the Nigerians!

it cant be spoofed seeing as i am in contact with one of the people i mail quite frequently on skype and she was having a conversation with the guys and they were pleading with her to make the deposit and also i cant log into my account and all the back up passwords have been changed!!

 

 

 

and here i thought things like this only happened in movies!!
