Management FUKKEN sux...................

I have still not been paid for the work i did as a mechanic. As the rates go, i did NOT charge an exsorbatant rate.

6 bikes @ R 140 per bike per day.......

I used my own vehicle and diesel

It is now two months and i am beyond giving up fighting.

It is a freaking weekend you clown the guys obviously have better things to do than sit on an internet forum and wait for thier company to be dragged through the dirt by an unhappy customer!!!

And with the second posting of this thread it makes me think that you might be the double poster who posted that first conspiracy theory thread about DCM not paying thier staff!!! smiley7.gif

P.S. the number for DCM Chrome was posted by the employee on that other thread why dont you go call them until someone answers on monday morning might be better than upping your post count on a forum that they are not reading!

I have no need to hide behind other freaken names. I'm the one not being paid here. NO conspiracy about that...Only facts. If the riders are not being paid . They can fight their own battles. NOT my business.

I am no customer of theirs.

When they approached me and asked if i would help them at the Epic , I did not hesitate.  Why should i wait more than 2 months for payment....

I agree the double post is unnecessary' date=' but... Tiger mentions that he's had several fruitless conversations already with the DCM guys, who allegedly fob him off with the excuse that Ian (DCM chief executive) needs to approve invoices or something.

Actually he's an unhappy supplier, not a customer.

If these rumours are true - and one is inclined to believe they are, given the state of the ferro-chrome industry - then it is right to name and shame these guys.

It's one thing to run out of money to pay salaries, but quite another to commit to things such as the sponsorship of the World Cup and mechanics for the Epic, when you're know you're struggling.

The former national director of public prosecutions Bulelani Ngcuka is the chairman of DCM. It doesn't reflect too well on him.

Of course, all of this is assuming that the allegations of Tiger and Napalm are true.

Perhaps that gent Jason, who commented in the other thread, can enlighten us.

Hmm, Jules, I doubt a few grand is going to impact on DCM Chromes bottom line too much, they may be experiencing tough times sure, as are many, but its still petty cash for a company of this stature.

Unfortunately its a sad reality of life but big companies have long drawn out processes, I deal with them everyday, if the "i'" ain't dotted and the t's aint crossed BEFORE you do the work, chances are you are going to have delays in payment, its just the way they work.

Not sure if this is the case with the OP, but chances are been a private individual he took things at face value and did the job without the necessary protocol in place, now its a game of "catch up" - I have no doubt he will get paid, I do believe its just a system issue which needs to be sorted out.

Sure, but the Epic was a while ago, and if you read Tiger's post in conjunction with Napalm's comments, you can't help wondering...

Guys, sponsors are very hard to come by, and for a newish sponsor to be treated like this is not fair. its one thing if someone has a gripe, but if everyone jumps on the band wagon because they have nothing better to do on their Saturday....YOU ARE POTENTIALY CHASING ONE OF THE BIGGEST SPONSORS AWAY. You have only heard one side of the story, I'm sure Jason will fill you in....

They run a very succesfull setup with the KTM offroad team....no sour grapes there...Embarrassed
