What is your impression of the new unit replacing the old S72x range?

Or would you prefer to go the Garmin 705 route?

Bought me one with GPS.

Just ask for the RS800cx Multi. More or less the same price as the one that comes with bike sensor or footpod but I'm using it for running, cycling and swimming and picks up signals very good. You can also downoad onto google earth and track your routes looking something like below, obviously much clearer and with a lot of functions.

The wearlink transmitter doesn't pick up heart rate under water through.

From all the reads and previous post on similar subject the Polar seems to be the best.
