Bad as that is, please beware, all these minis have a self destruct button (it was a spy car, you know) - so whatever you do, don't say "Giant" (Hello knappy!)

 

If you say Giant it disappears in to the distance in a flash... So please do not say Giant well driving behind us as out support vehicle as you might hook MWNN's tongue and drag him for 600km...

Rock, the new Turbo Engine is a Rocket!!!!

Old Cooper S with Supercharger 0-100km/h was 8.2 s (same as Polo GTi & Fiesta ST)

New Red Cooper S with Turbo 0-100 km/h in 7.1 s!!!!!

um....the MINI is actually an english car.....still is made in England.....however the engine has changed from the Tritec motor (made with the help of chrysler) to a PSA motor for the R56...thats a Peugeot/Citroen motor........but more importantly the cooper "S" should be called a "T" as they've ditched the supercharger for a Turbo........."vroom-tish"

Yip, with the turbo motor it's opening up a whole new world for aftermarket stuff.................aftermarket ECU, Boost controller to up the boost and fueling ect...............not to mention a nice big Blow Off valve whhoooooossshhhh

yes its a pretty rack - only catch is that they have to dril through the roof skin to ge to the mounting oints - however rumour has it that there's is a new roof rack in the pipe line for the R56 that doesn't require drilling.
