Underdog Posted June 10, 2009 Posted June 10, 2009 Didn't get a chance to ride the Scalpel at the last Ride before Buy, but did take the Merida out for a spin. If you want a racing geometry soft tail that climbs well and is extremely stable on the downhills -them Merida is your your ride. Good XT group all round and Fox shocks makes of a pretty package if you have a spare 29k Can say much about the Scalpel only that I wish i had time to ride it! My suggestion would be to check the prices at Raleigh - Recession Promo.
