Taps Posted June 23, 2009 Posted June 23, 2009 A while back after trying Whasps for the first time I said because of the taste I wouldn't use them again. Anyway, I did. Still almost gagged (Crazy Berry), but did get a good boost. Would be happier if taste improved. Consistency good though. Will probably continue to use Whasps 'cos are local and hopefully taste will improve with time?

Gave me goosebumps and tingles ont he tongue, worked well but that taste I just cannot deal with.... Need to seriously fix it...but honestly, I'd be very wary to try it again!! The other honey one was not bad though....and I had a few of those.
Pornstar Posted June 23, 2009 Author Posted June 23, 2009 again....the green mumba 100mg caffeine gel taste is a new tweak on old flavour... we know a lot of people use it even though they dont like the taste because it works...but now the taste is nicer so you can use it because of the taste, the consistancy and the fact that it kicks your ass
skipperw Posted November 3, 2009 Posted November 3, 2009 will be using the recovery shake for the first time after training this evening. protein vanilla gel my number one choice. used the tropical energy drink on a ride this Sunday. Tasted decent and felt good.

Also like the Gels, maybe you can bring out another flavor for the 100mg like Tangerine/Naartjie or Orange for those that don't like the taste. I've been using all these products at a few races and I thing they work. Will try the Recovery Shake as soon as I can collect the Hub 94.7 special I ordered, can't wait to try it.
