Tank Hit Headset

Was wondering about the headset....it looks HUGE

DT Spokes (Comps and the lighter ones - what they called again ?)

Supercomps? Or possibly lighter still then it'll be the Revolutions?

Truvativ isoflow crank (33t single ring and bash guard)

Also got the Isoflow on my playbike. Nice little crank. Got it with the frame. Was surprised to get replacable rings on it at the price.

What bashguard you getting? Went for geared as opposed to SS but wanna lose the bigring.

pedals (I'm thinking flats just to add to the discomfort.......LOL)

If you wanna add discomfort then flats are the way to go Thumbs%20Up but when you hit a steep climb you'll wish you hadn't. You need every last ounce of power. But some folks enjoy pain and suffering so if that's your thing.....OuchWink

(Hey....the first time I rode mine was the first time EVER i tried a bunnyhop and got the backwheel off the ground with flat pedals....made my week Big%20smileBig%20smileBig%20smile)

Rock, How are you going to tension the chain?

Good work Rock - now you just need to find a like minded individual' date=' and you can enter the Epic, like those 2 crazy yanks I saw. Now that is hardcore. [/quote']

Angry

Arghh they were not two yanks, the team was one yank and one SOuth African. [grumble grumble]

The dude on the IF single speed was Chris, a dude from New York and the bloke on the white On-One was Shaun, a colleague of mine.

Yeah yeah - I realised after I typed that that it was only one crazy yank, and one crazy Saffa. Crazy is still crazy no matter where you come from!!

Wink

getting there.....no suspension and no gears.......

If your riding with no suspension and no gears why don't you loose the brakes too and while you at that maybe the seat or even the handle bars!

Hey Rock, please send contacts for the "bead blasting and powder coating". Looks like the guy did a slick job and I am keen to get my frame re-done...

Also how much did it cost you?
