DawieO Posted July 2, 2009 Posted July 2, 2009 How do I get that nasty glue off the stanchions once I have removed the stickers off my fork? Tried Engine Cleaner, Nail polish remover, Clean Green... Eish!

AndreZA Posted July 2, 2009 Posted July 2, 2009 The stickers are not on the stanctions but on the lower legs. Spray some Doom/Raid or any other kind of bug spray on it and work it through with your fingers. Wipe and continue untill all is removed. Remember to wash your hand afterwards.

Slave Posted July 2, 2009 Posted July 2, 2009 Brasso works very well and so does thinners. I would use / go the brasso route though. Thinners may do more harm than good. Spread it over the area to be treated, leave it for a few minutes and rub off with tissue paper.
