I used to ride with no helmet, then i bought a leather strip head cover (cant call it a helmet) it was so cool

 

Sounds way retro, dude...

Hi guys. I'm a lil lazy to read all the previous comments, so I would just like to know what time u guys get 2gether and where? I'm in CT for about 2weeks and want to get back on the bike for a few rides

Most are playing on the trails now with their off-road machines, Gas.

 

I dunno of any roadies on the usual Sat and Sun rides at this time.

There's some beautiful autumn mornings coming on...

 

No wind, cool.

Perfect for early morning rides, with some arm warmers now.

BASE TRAINING RIDE ON SATURDAY 28 APRIL

 

Paarl - du Toitskloof Pass - Bainskloof Pass - Wellington

121 km

1800 m+ ascent

23 - 25 km/h avg.

DQ for any big blade moves. ^_^

 

Wheels roll at 07h00 from Paarl Mall parking lot.

 

Bring food and tech spares as there is merely a tuck shop along the way.

Bring arm warmers and/or gilet as it can be chilly in the early AM shadow of the Drakenstein Mountains.
