Good going there, Wannabe...

I've never heard this forgiving attitude towards the wind before.

Good determination, Boet!

:-)

You know the saying, if you can't beat it........ :whistling: ;)

Hi,

where do you guys depart from? time? spd?

It varies. If 'Dale calls the ride, it is before the birds have farted. :whistling:

I tend to ride at more civilised hours.

Starting point also varies, but mostly from Mc Donalds in Wellingtons str, Durbanville.

Speed normaly in the 25 -28km/h range. Depends on route and wind.

You are welcome to join, just keep an eye on this thread.

Weather forecast for this weekend is a bit iffy, but unless it pours down with rain, I'm gonna do the Durbanville Highschool route on Saturday. Start is at traffic circle at School / Spar.

Pace will not be too hot (avg 25 km /h), no one gets left behind. Start either 7h00 or 7h30.

Amazing to think that there'd be a 'rain warning' towards the end of October's weather forecast.

Weather forecast for Saturday is improving.

Any takers for the Saturday LSD type ride on the Durbanville Highschool race route?

That is a bit too strong. Hopefully it will improve as the week goes on. Really need to do at least one 100km ride this weekend.

Anyone with meteorological wisdom, how does the South Easter bring rain these days.

Now that you mention it. I see fairly strong (25-35km/h SE) is predicted on Weather SA for both Sat and Sun, but also 30% rain for sat and 15% for Sunday.

Boggles my tiny mind, so weather gurus, what say you?

Isn't it called the Black South Easter. Happens only a few times a year but is fairly intense when it does. That's what I always thought anyway.

Lemme Google that.
