Is the Fisantekraal route open for cyclists after the train-bridge incident?

Is it the bridge as you turn right towards Fisantekraal from Wellington Rd?

That's the one. Smack bang in the middle of a nice section of my regular training route.

I rode over the bridge this morning, 100% fine for cyclists, actually now its even better as the traffic is less!

You don't notice any damage as you go over the bridge, the train lying below the bridge is a big mess though!

Awesomeness.

I passed the far side this morning on the R304 and went through to Klipheuwel and Philadelphia Rd.

Saw the 'Road Closed' sign there as well.

A bit sad, last morning ride for the season done! Now for a few weeks rest and then back on the bike to prepare for the big one in March!

If I don't ride my bike, I bounce off the walls :excl: :excl: :excl:

Riding only starts in earnest now. Big miles to be put in between now and 12 Jan 2014 (target is at least 1000km LSD)

If the good weather keeps up you'll do that 1000km before Christmas ^_^
