Had my BB replaced today otherwise i would have joined.

I'm keen to join the ride tomorrow, though not sure I'll be able to hang on, so might peel off if pace too fast.

Did the Durbanville Hells Franschhoek Hells Ride-in Durbanville ride a couple of weeks ago- tuff, very tuff, but then again I am sleg, baie sleg....clocked 143km with 1600m vertical ascent

 

HAHA! I did the Wellington - R44 - Fruitsellers - Stellies - Helz - Franschhoek (and then met up with the guys) - Helz - Bottelary - La Belle - D'ville route yesterday... solo'd until Franschhoek. Did 152Km with just over 1800m ascent...

Thank you guys for the ride this morning, was great and pace just right, though have to start working on the climbs to stay with you.

 

Some of us did the gravel section to Malanshoogte and this mornings ride just confirmed I will skip the 99'er. That gravel section is far too dangerous in a race and the last 3 climbs to torturous at the end of a race.
