Hello and Hi!

1. Should we not start a new thread for the new year?

2. When is the next ride? (Slowish would be good for a few weeks)

3. If just 2 of us ride, is the old route considered safe since the accident as this has always been my worry. Its such a beautiful ride.

What do you guys average when you ride as a group?

I'm relatively new to the sport and REAL slow, only do about 23km/h average, basically the Durbie Dash 46km route.

Would like to try and keep close to a group for as long as possible till I get dropped, then do it again and again to get better.

Or is there a group for slow riders like me somewhere? :)

KILLARNEY TRAINING SESSIONS
Cycling training sessions at Killarney will take resume next week "TODAY" Tuesday 13 January. There will also be a training session on Thursday 15 January from 18h00-19h00; registration from 17h30. Cost: R20 for PPA members and R40 for non-members. If the ‘normal’ entrance gate is closed, please use the second gate about 800m along the road.

This is really good workout before the CAPE TOWN cycle tour "argus". There is fast group for the fast cats and there is medium group and a slow group. I take the medium group and check how fast laps i can do in 30min, then i fall back to the medium/slow group that starts with intervals , and that makes you nice and strong.

So come join in and see you guys today. There is medics on standby there to.
