Narrower handlebars for more precise steering

 

this is probably also personal preferance ... the trance came with very wide handlebars and i wanted to cut it off ... a friend suggested that i ride with it for 2 weeks and then cut it off.

i love the wide handlebars, i can force the bike to go shere i want to, with narrowere handlebars (like on the hardtail) steering is more difficult.

 

probably the also depends on what type of riding you do, then - for marathons the bike wouldn't usually have to be force to go where you want it, i guess.
