Loose cog Posted October 23, 2013 Share Hi Guys Last weekend I finished assembling a Vitus 979. Paint work is original and in VGC except for a small scratch above the bottle cage. Main groupset is Shimano 600 including wheel hubs laced to Mavic open 4CD's. Brakes are grey anodised SLR calipers and levers. Need to import some new lever hoods! NOS SLR cables used throughout. I will have them sent to a friend and then brought into the country in Dec. Still hard at looking for a Master which I hope to find before Dec too. Was the branding not engraved similar to some I have seen on eBay? I will see if I can find an example for you. Still, nice brake set. Can't wait to begin my next project with the Special.
