These were a Junkmail find about 4 years ago. Price was next to nothing. Quite rare because Campag only made this Super Record version for one year before C-Record came out. They were basically a copy of the 50th anniversary crank.

Uh, Velo, uh I take it that THAT lives in your A/C safe inside another safe.

I like the way the box is designed to accomodate the larger LH crank, so this is probably a 170mm crank.

So this is according to the box an "E-Record" Really?

Jeepers, even the box is still absolutely perfect. Every corner as new.

Very nice find

Is that like a royal blue velvety inlay in the box?

But if I may ask a favour ...pls take another pic with the RH crank arm in the down position. Please. I'm wondering if the velvet is crushed from lying in its original position for so long.

Sheesh, all these demands. Kind of velvety but not quite the real thing. I like the way Campy over engineered the box, even has indentations for the spider arms and holes for each chainring bolt.

Just finished the Battaglin and the only modern goods on it are Conti Gatorskins and Fizik bar tape!! Remember reading a while back of a Hubber having a blonde moment when he assembled his pedals ar$e about face and I had a similar one. While fitting the brake levers on the bars I was trying to route the brake cable through the front and out the back as per normal. Well after a good 10 minutes I got into my Goran Ivanisevic mode being a Croat and was just about ready for the toss over the neighbours wall!!! Low and behold these levers are pre Aero era so the cable feeds through the top of the hoods!! Well irritating!!
