Rooibaard Posted November 7, 2010 Share can anyone give me some tips on how to get more air off a jump? it seems i'm not getting the right 'pop' off the jump like when you ride a mx bike where you can gas it to jump. i'm also not sure about my bike setup for jumping... my rear shock coil size is 350x2.8 my weight is 78kg. the sag is 20%. any info? This past weekend was awesome, really stoked about it.A little sore, but that just means I had more fun, right? I think the winning time (Pottie) was around 3min 13sec or so...You should have seen him in the rock chute...will post a video later sometime of it I managed a 4min flat BUt had terrible line through sections and didn't try the fail jumps (from vid above) in the race run either. There should be a Facebook group going up where everyone can post pics n vids they took of the event, so will let ya guys know the link when it's up.
