ok, reset my sag, and the other settings. Will give it a try tomorrow.

also, I think the Murray bob smiley17.gif looked uneven cos i think he was using the rear brake. It's a long travel bike, so if the rear is compressed without locking the front, the front will just roll not resulting in the fork compressing along with the rear. Engaging the front brake instead results in both shock and fork compressing in tandem if u bounce around on your seat.

Hey any of you guys got any tyres you don't want that you can sell to me for cheap?

gaah!! i actual gave away my high rollers the other day. smiley6.gif no sidewall damage, no punctures, still a lot of tread left. oi.

Jason: you can fit the hub yourself. It doesnt require special tools. If you can fit a headset, then this will be a cinch.

DHK: not sure if I will be able to make it on saturday. maybe the afternoon only. But sunday is outta the question cos of the unicycle DH world champs. Going to Paarl on sunday instead, hopefully hook up with that dude on the hardtail we were talking to on Sun. Apparently, there are two or three routes. All fairly quick runs. will be interesting. probably gonna crash like a mofo smiley6.gif

some random dude who saw it lying on my porch. i left it there after i came back from the LBS, but forgot to take it inside. I got a sudden case of severe laziness when he asked if he could take it for his bike. I shrugged and said yes smiley17.gif

get a bike rack. Well, if can only manage sat afternoon. let me know. I will try to make my way out there. Need to get more saddle time, and more importantly, need to figure this damn front wheel washing out story. Had a damn sketchy moment today. really thought i was about to have serious washout. Clock was sitting at 50-odd kph. would not have been funny...

I think I am the guy on the HT you were talking to. I might be going to Spanish Farm on Sunday but if not we will deff go to Paarl. I will keep y'all informed. you might have to org your own shuttles cos we usually shuttle in my mate's vito. it can only fit 4 bikes.

Paarl is the bomb. 3 tracks and a tar shuttle road.

What more could you ask for? Don't say a ski lift.
