In my humble opinion it?s by far the best place for single track riding in <?: prefix = st1 ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:smarttags" />Gauteng. Yesterday I explored 40km of single track, some quite challenging. I also love the hills, great training ground to get your cardio fitness a good workout. The landscape also changes to such an extend that I never felt bored. If you explore the single track on the other side of the Kromdraai road, you find the most amazing view, from Magaliesburg to Krugersdorp and Randfonteind all the way round to Johannesburg. These guys cater for all types, and for all different scenarios, form nice uphill?s, to downhill?s, forest, grassland, felt to even a very gnarly water bridge crossing.

And the best part of it all, the Beer and Chicken burger afterwards.

Yea ? its my favouriteLOL.

You forgot to tell us about the worst part of it. How did you get the foul taste out your mouth after licking the waiters arse to get any service?

Manbearpig, I remember your thread about the bad service, to tell you the truth, the ?informal? restaurant with the guy singing cool oldies while sipping on your beer was actually fantastic, it?s the second time I had the same waitress ? Portia, she was awesome, quick and very friendly, never had to wait for a good supply of beer coming our way. I have not experienced the bad service yet ? and hope not to in future.<?: prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" />

You must go and ride those hills at night like they did in the night series last year. It's cool not to see what's comming so you can't get discouraged.

The single-track at the dam with the water bridge should also be quite a challenge at night; I definitely don?t want to see what?s ahead of me, some wicked drop-offs. So can only imagine at night could be a bit crazy.  <?: prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" />

The night race circuit was only 7km x 3. Up the and down the two hills.

Then you definitely don?t want to see what?s ahead of you. Wacko<?: prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" />
