Gobbo Posted September 9, 2009 Posted September 9, 2009 Not going to it! Waste of money for me. Its a great race but bunches are way too bigdue to greed I believe ,and I have seen some nasty accidents.Rather do the "smaller"races.To those who are going do do it , good luck and ride safe.

scuzzy Posted September 9, 2009 Posted September 9, 2009 Does anybody know where the number of entries stand at the moment. In the past they kept it pretty updated, but haven't really heard anything yet. It is quite expensive if I want to enter my wife and me, and she needs to get a chip and everything. So also want to stretch it as late as possible, but need to know when "late" is.

scotty Posted September 9, 2009 Posted September 9, 2009 This year was my 10th and my idea was to ride relaxed and take it easy, stopping at waterpoints taking photo's etc but due to the wind i thought it better to get the ride over as quickly as i could, so i'll do this next year instead.

Yes they will clarify those that are eligible.They are trying to encourage us new guys to return every year, just to claim the special medal, at 10th and 21th Argus Tour. Â
