I am using the rotor rings on my converted for TT roadbike. Can't remember exact setup and I'm lazy to go out now but I did it according to their advice in the manual for a TT setup ......

tribarwarrior, I'v got a cheap set of rings for you to first try before you invest in a expensive set.

Comes of the old Shimano Biopace cranks

Oval chainrings? Is this Biopace for MTB's?

Why not?

I think it's 42/52 so maybe not the best combenation, but it will give a good idea of the oval concept

I have two road bikes that use biopace chainrings and I dont have a problem with it at all. I find them to be smooth and comfortable. Sheldon Brown also liked them - his article explains how much graft Shimano put into developing them.

I must add that I am a "for fun cyclist" and would not suggest that they are going to give you and edge in racing. I like them LOL
