The groupset is a bit of a mix at present, so the weight could probably come down ever so slightly.

As it stands - 11.3kg with pedals.

Frame: 140mm Carbon

150mm Fork Rock Shox Revelation

Fox Float RP23 Shock

Drivetrain Shimano XT/SLX mix (direct mount front derailluer)

Brakes Shimano XTR

Wheels CrankBrothers Iodine (slightly heavy BUT Oh so sweet)

Isn't the revelation to much fork for this frame' date=' I thought the blur lt required more of a xc set-up...[/quote']

The revelation is a 110-130mm or 2009 is 110- 140mm and weighs 1.8kg

the frame Is a 140mm Vpp design which is way plush. along with the Rp23 that bike is as close to a do anything bike as youll ever find.

The blur Xc is the xc one. the LT is slightly more AM with very little weight added.

I have the old LT, and my word, Trust me, that thing goes anywere! you can hit rockgardens flat out.  If I race I just turn the forks down to 100mm and it makes handeling sharper and more racer like. If only I can get mine down to 11.3 kg.. darn, I wouldnt have to ride the HT at all.

heres mine

The Blur XC is more suitable for xc. The LT can be set up for xc or all-mountain. Just depends on what terrain & style you prefer.

I have no idea how it rides. I'm just waiting for this damn broken shoulder to heal.Confused
