Yellow Saddle Tech Courses and Workshops in October.

Johannesburg

10 October. Suspension Fork Service Workshop.

This hands-on workshop will teach you all you need to know about the inner mechanisms of your fork and how to service it. You'll walk away after the afternoon's workshop with a fully serviced fork. The course covers: Tools. Oil and Grease. Troubleshooting. Safety. Service Intervals. Shortcuts and more.

If there is demand, I can arrange an additional rear shock workshop for air cannister servicing just prior to the fork workshop.

Cost: R480-00 Including oil and minor O-rings, but excludes main seals and parts.

Five spaces left. On this course you can come and meet Hubber SuperMil and his mysterious Marzocchi with factory-fitted blow-hole. It's true.

25 and 25 October. General Repair and Maintenance.

This is the ultimate DIY bike repair course. Hands-on, involved and in-depth. Walk away with one or more fully serviced bicycles as well as the confidence to tackle any maintenance job in the future. Each student has his or her own workstand, workbench and tools. The format is a demonstration followed by hands-on work on your own bike. We dispell all myths regarding drivetrain replacement issues, learn to understand bearings and lubrication, learn to troubleshoot, make all adjustments and fix anything. A must for the serious rider. Hundreds of satisfied guys and girls have done this course.

Cost: R2780, including lunches and coffee on tap, a Yellow Saddle shop apron, Park Blue Book of Bicycle repair and course notes.

Cape Town

17 and 18 October. General Repair and Maintenance.

Exactly the same course as above, but brought to the Mother City with local flavour (better lunches including catch of the day).

Only one space left on this course.

Family discounts of 50% on the second family member apply to all my courses. On the Cape Town course we'll have one father and son and one father and daughter combo.

KZN? we'd do bunnies for lunch!

Unfortunately I'm a vegetarian.

KZN makes a lot of noise about these courses but then surf comes up and they forget.  I've said repeatedly, with a small committment I'll come down. Find one or two buddies and I'm there.

I'll keep it in mind, i am in PMB, so although i love my surfing, unless its really cooking, we won't forget. i reckon there are quite a few guys who might be interested. let me chat to some mates here. thanks!

For those of you not riding the Crater Cruise this Saturday, there's some oily excitement in the form of a Fork Service Workshop right here in Jhb.

Block off the afternoon. We'll fix some forks and drink a beer to honour Paul Kruger's birthday.

As for the Cape Town Repair and Maintenance Course - I have one space left.
